My Voice, My Power! Program The My Voice, My Power! Program is a group mentorship initiative for girls and gender-diverse youth in grades 4-7. Through fun activities including role play, art, games, and engaging discussions, My Voice, My Power! promotes self-confidence healthy relationships, and encourages participants to advocate for themselves and others.

How It Works: Challenging gender stereotypes and inequality
My Voice, My Power! is an eight-session program guided by 2-3 trained mentors. In this program, participants discuss personal boundaries, learn about themselves and their rights, and build friendships. Together, they discover how to support themselves and one another, helping to create safe and welcoming environments for everyone.

What It Means to Be a My Voice, My Power! Mentor
As a mentor in the My Voice, My Power! Program, you will help guide discussions and lead activities that promote empowerment. You’ll create a safe and friendly space for youth to express themselves and learn how to stand up for their rights.
Who Can Become a My Voice, My Power! Mentor?
Mentors must be 19 or older, pass a criminal record check, and complete training that focuses on group facilitation, child safety, and gender-based violence prevention. Our staff will support you throughout the program to ensure both you and the participants have a fun and meaningful experience.
