GrapeJuice Wine Auction Now Open Online
Guess what! We decided to open the GrapeJuice silent auction for online bidding prior to the event this year, and bidding is now open at www.bigsistersgrapejuice.com. Get a head start by browsing the items and registering prior to the event. The online auction will close at 7:45 pm on Thursday, April 26th, 2018.
How to Use the Givergy Mobile Platform
1. View the Auction Site
Enter the auction URL in your smart phone’s browser or click the link in the SMS you receive.
2. The Lot List
Start by having a look through the auction items. For more info and an image of each item simply tap the lot item.
3. Place your Bid
Enter the amount you want to bid and then press “Place Bid.”
4. Login/Register
If your details have not yet been captured then the system will ask you to register before accepting your bid.
5. Confirmation
Congrats! Your bid has been accepted. You may now place a “Max Bid” and the system will bid for you up to that amount.
6. SMS Notification
If you are outbid you will receive an SMS with a quick link to bid again. Good luck!
Bidding Tips
1. Your Device
Please make sure to bring a web-enabled device to the event. We recommend using your own cell data at the event, and please be assured that the Givergy system uses only a small amount of data (approx. the same as a Google search.)
2. Registering
When you register, make sure to enter your cell phone number so that you can easily receive notifications regarding bidding and payment.
3. Max bidding
You have the option of entering a max bid so that bidding is even easier. Simply place your standard bid and then place a max bid for the highest amount you are willing to pay for that item, and the system will bid on your behalf.
4. Item pick-up
Items will be available for pickup at the event starting at 8 pm. Items not collected on-site at the event must be collected from the Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland offices (34 12 AVE E, Vancouver, BC V5T 2G5) by Friday, June 1st, 2018.
