Vancouver Pride Month: Here’s How You Can Celebrate

Vancouver Pride is this month! Diversity is something we all need to celebrate and respect. Here are a list of events happening in Vancouver, along with some LGBTQ+ resources.




August 2nd – Prance on the Pier (5PM, The Shipyards in North Vancouver)

Join us at the first all-ages Pride dance in North Vancouver. Head at the Shipyard Markets, a 3 minute walk from Lonsdale Quay, for a free night of DJs, food, games and a community zone!

August 4th – Davie Street Party (6PM-Midnight, Davie Village between Burrard and Jervis)

Join Vancouver Pride Society for the biggest event in the West End – the Davie Street Party! Presented by Fido, there will be multiple stages, lots of food from the many businesses along Davie Street, and great new art installations.

August 5th – Terry Wallace Memorial Breakfast (8AM, Jim Deva Plaza in the Davie Village)

Join us to help honor one of the founders of Pride. There will be yummy pancakes and lots of other goodies, as well as great community.

August 6th – Brunch & Parade Viewing at the Boathouse (10:30AM, The Boathouse Restaurant 1795 Beach Avenue)

The best place to watch the Vancouver Pride Parade in comfort, and STYLE!

August 6th – Sunset Beach Festival (11AM, Sunset Beach Park)

Come celebrate Pride in the sun and sand at the Sunset Beach Festival. With a full stage, beer garden, and community zone, stay for the whole day or pop by after the parade.

August 6th – 39th Annual Vancouver Pride Parade (12PM, West End, Vancouver)

Join the Vancouver Pride Society in showing what pride means to us with our 39th Annual Pride Parade. Watch the colours fly and have a ball while all the amazing floats march past.
