Top 4 Reasons You Don’t Want to Miss Spring Lunch

Help girls spread their wings this year at our annual Spring Lunch fundraiser! Featuring 200 of Vancouver’s Engaged Business Community, a champagne cocktail reception, testimonial stories and more. We’ve come up with the top four reasons you don’t want to miss this year’s Spring Lunch.

Get your tickets here.

1. WestJet Flight Raffle
At this year’s Spring Lunch, WestJet is giving you the chance to win a trip for two to any regular scheduled destination in Canada, United States, Mexico, Central America, South America and United Kingdom! The prize is yours, only if you enter the raffle. The winner will also be announced before you leave, so make sure you stay in case your name is announced. Who knows, you could be booking yourself a trip to Mexico.

2. Scenic View of the North Shore Mountains
We are thrilled to be at the Vancouver Convention Centre’s Level 2 Ocean Foyer in the West Building this year! Having a room facing the North Shore mountains is a perk, for sure. Add in the natural lighting, and we’ve got a great occasion to take those well-lit and glamorous photos you’ve been wanting.

3. Dr. Shimi Kang’s “Prescriptions” for Well-being
We are delighted to host a Harvard-trained psychiatrist, award-winning academic and #1 best selling author who routinely “prescribes” Big Sisters to many girls to help them achieve optimal health and well-being. She’ll be speaking about how mentoring, contributing and connecting are some of the best anti-depressants out there.

4. Changing the Lives of Many Young Girls
By attending this year’s Spring Lunch, you’re helping change lives for many young girls. When girls’ self-esteem peaks at age nine and when 50% of girls wish they were someone else, mentoring matters. Your generosity makes a difference. Thank you for helping change these statistics. We can’t do this important work without your support.

While this event is fun, it’s also very important to us and our mentoring initiatives. We sincerely hope you have a great time!
