Maninder Dhaliwal has extensive board and committee experience, including Kids Up Front, The Pacific Club (Past President and Board Chair), Performing Arts Lodge, and the Lookout Society. She is in the FWE e-series, and is very proficient in constructive social networking. She is also a mentor with the Vancouver Leaders of Tomorrow program and enjoys a fruitful mentoring relationship with Joseph Segal.

Maninder is the President of Lumiere Concepts, a company specializing in lighting design and construction for the retail, hospitality and residential sectors.
