A lifelong Vancouver resident, Kay Gray is a parent to four grown daughters. Kay is a supporter of organizations, such as Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland, which are committed to helping girls realize their full potential as successful, confident young women that participate in the community. Kay has been a Director on the Big Sisters Board since 2004.

As Partner at Grant Thornton LLP and the leader of Grant Thornton’s Succession and Estate Planning Team for the Greater Vancouver Area, Kay deals with taxation matters arising from a business succession for owner-managed companies, the use of testamentary and inter vivos trusts for planning one’s estate, and post-mortem tax planning strategies. She has spoken at numerous seminars and conferences on estate planning matters, including the 2003 and 2005 BC Tax Conferences, and has taught the advanced taxation course at BCIT.
